Crowtalon's paws stepped lightly in the muck as he traversed the tree-filled terrain. He was heading the opposite direction of the river. He was no HazeClan cat, he didn't have the proper technique to catch a fish and he wasn't about to try. The muck was pretty thick probably from some earlier rain or it was just typical for the area. The only irritating thing about it was that it was getting on his pure white pelt. It didn't exactly clash well.
Crow didn't seem to care much about what he was stepping in because he just kept pressing on, his ears flicking every once in a while trying to pick up any sounds. His head turned from left to right as his gaze wandered the territory before him. He heard a few bushes rustle, but whatever was in there sounded too large to be a squirrel or a bird. But it didn't smell like a predator.
He turned his head and looked at the bush. "When I go hunting I usually don't intend to be hunting cat." He flicked his tail with a small sheepish grin.

"Then you're missing out," Antler replied earnestly as she stepped from her bush. There was no particular attraction that had caused her to select this plant over any others, she simply had. Perhaps it hadn't been a great decision, since how her pelt was somewhat itching uncomfortable, and she couldn't help but wonder if the plant played any fault in it.
"Crowtalon, yo." The tawny she-cat greeted with a tiny nod of her head. She was trying to act at least somewhat restrained in front of her deputy, though most of the time she wouldn't even bother. It was important to retain at least a semblance of a good impression though, and so every now and then she tried to be normal. Or nice. Or both.
"What are you up to?"
