(Since this is the site's very first gathering, all characters (except for kittens) will be able to attend. In the future, a leaders (if they desire) may choose a specific group of characters to come to gatherings, making it a special event to go to. Also note that Foxclan will not be attending this gathering. So please do not post here if you are in Foxclan)
The full moon was shining bright overhead as Otterstar entered the Five Point Clearing. This would be his first gathering as the Leader of Duskclan. He wasn't sure how to feel, really. Part of him was nervous, and the other part proud. He had always wanted to sit up with the other leaders as an apprentice and young warrior. Now he finally was. Plus there was at least one other new Leader, so he wouldn't exactly be in the presence of some old scary leader.
His Clan was the first to arrive, and for some reason he was proud of that. It gave him time to scamper up the big tree he was to sit on, and he watched as his clan-mates walked in and began to settle down. Hopefully they wouldn't say, or do, anything stupid. He'd hate for his Clan to start a fight during his first gathering.

Whisperwing glanced around the Five Point clearing with the same feeling she had felt at her first gathering. It was a mixture of pride, awe, and nervousness. It would be her first gathering as deputy. Cats would be looking at her, judging her, trying to see if she was worthy-- She broke off her train of thought as she looked at Otterstar. It was his first gathering in a new rank, too.
The she-cat made her way to the tree where her leader sat. "Good luck, though I doubt you'd need it." She offered him a smile with the words. Seeing him up there helped to calm her nerves. He looked calm and proud up there. He looked like he belonged up there. Whisperwing felt a surge of pride for her clan.'Yes,' she thought, 'he will make a fine leader for our clan.' She moved away from the base of the tree and went to wait for the other deputies to arrive. She was curious to meet them all.

It wasn't long before Pearlstar sauntered into the clearing, leading his rather small, but growing, clan. Thankfully having had practice with climbing trees in the clearing a few nights before, Pearlstar was able to scale the tree in three supple movements and take his rightful place as leader. He nodded to Otterstar, and although they were equals could not help but feel inferior, puffing out his chest to perhaps look taller and more defined.
He knew the leaders by name, but not by face. This one was a tomcat, though, and he knew that Antlerstar and Mothstar were female. So, by process of elimination the cat standing before him had to be Otterstar. He had not seen him before- granted, this was his first gathering, not just as a leader but ever in his lifetime. Still, it made for quiet conversation.
"Is this your first gathering?"

She'd figured Shadeclan wouldn't be the first to arrive, but it was still irksome in some way. Antlerstar led her clan into the clearing, her tail drifting high like a flag in the gentle wind. True her clan was small, but certainly that wouldn't last long, and there was little difference between her own clan and that of the others. There were bigger differences to be focused on.
When her nose caught Pearlstar's scent Antler smiled and sped up to a scamper. She was right behind the black tom as he climbed the tree, and with practiced ease she slithered up behind him. Obvious displays of affection were not welcome at a gathering, particularly between two leaders, and that was exactly why she leaned in to try and tap Pearlstar's cheek with her nose, sardonic amusement darkening her gaze. She did so love tormenting her friend, and it was so very easy. Otterstar was less interesting. A fellow leader to be sure, but Antler in all her whims did not like his name, and so she paid him less attention than the Hazeclan leader, sparing only a nod.

Mintbreeze was a part of Otterstar's clan, she belonged to the DuskClan valley. Her eyes glowed two icy pools of blue as her dark furred pelt was swallowed by the lurking darkness. Mintbreeze followed close behind Otterstar and Whisperwing she'd yet to have a real conversation with the two.. though she'd spoken to Otterstar.. before star was the last part of his name, when they were warriors.
Mintbreeze was surrounded by a halo of inky disarray, her fur was black, spiky, normally much like a thistle, various patches of gray were splotched lightly across her coal colored coat. When she entered the clearing it was obvious they were the first clan there, but the faint aromas of the past several moons, still haunted the grounds. Within a few moments HazeClan showed up, their black leader at the front of the line. I scanned the clearing much like a stencil, as new clans cats began to flood the camp. Soon after HazeClan. ShadeClan showed up.
I settled down in the most perfect area I could find. I could easily see the leaders despite my small spiky framed body. My pupils widened as I recognized affectionate smiled between Pearlstar and Antlerstar, but as they got closer, the formalized. I sighed disgustedly and snorted. Of course HazeClan and ShadeClan were going to be friends against the code, she thought. Mintbreeze was disgusted by all chanced of disloyalty. Though deep down she was jealous, HazeClan and ShadeClan would probably become allies leaving DuskClan.. to see if we have a chance of partnership, with DewClan.

The golden tabby followed her leader into the clearing and looked around. First gathering for everyone she assumed. She could feel the excitement running through her veins as she padded in behind Antlerstar.her green eyes taking everything in at once. She made her way towards Mintbreeze and dipped her head in greetings. "Hello, I am Dapplesong of Shadeclan." She introduced politely

It was our first gathering as the new clans. I followed next to Pearlstar, glancing back to check on our clan as traveled. I made it my responsibility to make my way to the back of the line then back up to Pearlstar, making sure everyone and thing was in order.
As we entered the gathering area I nodded to Pearlstar before heading towards the deputy area. Her heterochromia iridium gazed off at the mingling cats, a soft smile faintly haunted her pretty face. I was a flame point Siamese with two different colored eyes, the right was blue, and the left, yellow-green.
I lifted my paw, a dozy soft look in my eyes, with a sigh the paws brushed over my muzzle and then ears. I glanced to the leaders and then towards the other deputies. I nodded to Whisperwing,
"How are you?"
I asked, in a sweet sing-song like voice, in a dreamy way I licked my chest before resting my soft unique gaze.

Otterstar watched with narrowed eyes as more and more cats poured into the Clearing. Hazeclan and Shadeclan finally arrived. Pearlstar managed to ask him a question, and Otterstar would have responded to it had Antlerstar not begun to poke at Pearlstar with her nose. Odd one, that was. Hopefully she wasn't as crazy as she seemed to be at the moment.
Despite the she-cats queer antics, however, he forced himself to smile and purr with amusement. "Well, Pearlstar, looks like a Shadeclan she-cat has caught her eye on you. Now I'm afraid there'll be a Shadeclan-Hazeclan alliance over your undying love." He said sarcastically, but with friendly intentions. Hopefully the Dewclan Leader, Mothstar, would arrive soon, and hopefully she'd be more mature and...sane.

I followed in the meeting area slowly. I gave a lazy roll of my shoulders to signify the release of any tension I had been building up with the slight nervousness that ached in my bones.
I took in my surroundings, smiling at the grouping of seemingly friendly cats. I didn't think I would be noticed as a clan's outsider, but you'd never know. 'Ol Thistlebrains could be plotting an evil plan to kill me off because of a little sarcasm and toying around. Not like I didn't deserve a little bit of something though. LAIKA OF GS!

Whisperwing watched as another cat approached her. She recognized it as Mothwillow, another new deputy. Her scent marked her as Hazeclan. Another sniff of the air told her that Shadeclan had arrived as well. Where was Dewclan? They shouldn't be too far behind. It wasn't as if it were that late either.
"I am well, you?" The large gray tabby inwardly tilted her head to the side. She had never spoken to the other cat before, only saw her. Her pelt had always interested her at gatherings as well as her eyes. Though, she tried to keep her staring to a minimum. She had never seen another cat quite like that.

ACORNMOON No Notes ○ 107 Words Acornmoon, the new ShadeClan medicine cat, stepped quietly into the clearing. This would be his very first gathering - he hadn't attended any as an apprentice, and had only been a warrior for several days. Then he'd met Emeraldlamb and started his second apprenticeship.
The tabby glanced around to see if he could spot anyone who might be a medicine cat, and was promptly disappointed. His mentor wasn't even here yet. Since he wasn't brave enough to approach any of the deputies or leaders, Acornmoon just stood around awkwardly, hoping that another Clan's healer would turn up soon. That would at least give him someone to talk to.

A long, silky form weaved silently about the underbrush. Her cool grey-blue eyes focused and then unfocused on the varying shades of darkness and moonlight - the slight chill of the night air making her fawn fur puff up just a bit. It was an awkward point in Greenleaf now, when the days brought unmistakable and hardly bare-able heat. When the nights brought an obnoxious chill - why couldn't the elements just make up their minds?
Mothstar abandoned her thoughts of the weather and finally strode in with her Clan; great, we're dead last.. Normally, the she-cat was punctual. However, their gait was slowed by what seemed to be natures little traffic obstacles. It set her on a bit more edge than usual and one of her slightly-darker tipped ears flicked. The tufts bouncing lightly.
She attempted to keep her game face on though, sweeping over the other clanners with her gaze before slipping by them and joining her place among the leaders - keeping her head held by. "I'm sure these cats have been waiting long enough," She began, passing her cobalt eyes over first Antlerstar, then Pearlstar, then Otterstar. "Shall we begin? I wouldn't mind going first." She meowed, figuring perhaps she should take the initiative. After all, the other Clan's were surely waiting for her with baiting breath.
