Emeraldlamb bounded into the Celestial Pool's cavern. The water rippled and shone in greeting, and he looked over his shoulder to make sure Acornmoon had kept up. It was a long journey, no doubt, and some apprentices struggled. Then again, he wasn't exactly an apprentice- but, he was his apprentice. Long awaited, at last. Tenderly touching his paw to the pool, the medicine cat was contented by how the small waves lapped at his fur, refreshing him.
Lifting his chin, he turned to the warrior. "Acornmoon, is it your wish to enter the mysteries of CelestialClan as a medicine cat?

ACORNMOON scrolling alert ○ 239 Words Acornmoon padded nervously after Emeraldlamb. Just a few days ago, he would never have imagined himself walking into this mysterious cave. He had just finished his apprentice training and become a warrior. But ever since that herb-gathering trip with ShadeClan's medicine cat, things had been different. The tabby's paws had been turned onto the path of the healer.
And it fits, doesn't it? asked a tiny voice in his mind. If you had stayed a warrior, you would have been forced to fight other cats at some point. Now the chance of that happening is much smaller. Besides, you do have a good memory for herbs.
The young tom hadn't had any trouble with the journey to the cavern. His training had made him strong and fit. No, the hard part still lay ahead. Acornmoon's legs trembled as he saw the Celestial Pool; he halted next to it and gazed into its depths. Tiny ripples were sent across its surface when the older tom dipped a paw into the water.
He gazed at Emeraldlamb uncertainly, but his voice was confident when he finally did speak. "Yes, it is." Doubts sprang up like wildfire in his mind - what if CelestialClan rejected him? What if it turned out that he was no good at being a medicine cat? Acornmoon made an attempt to quash them before true panic arose, but his nervousness was visible in his expression for a fleeting moment.
