While this site is pretty open about the advertisements posted on it, there are a few guidelines you should follow to make sure your advertisement isn't hidden or just deleted altogether.
1) No inappropriate websites are to be advertised. If your website has any sexual themes, drug or alcohol related themes, pornography, or anything else rated over PG-13, then please do not post your website. Any website deemed inappropriate will be deleted without question.
2) Please only post your advertisement once. If your advertisement changes, edit your post. If your advertisement moves past the first page, you may post once to bump it back to the first page. You may only do this, however, once every 48 hours, so that all advertisements have a chance in the spotlight.
3) Please post in the correct sub-board. While you will not be punished for this, or get your advertisement deleted for it, it is highly annoying for the staff members of TMS, and honestly, kinda looks bad.
4) Your advertisement MUST have a link to at least one part of your site. It doesn't have to be the home page, or even the advertisement board. It just has to link to your site, either through a direct link, or a picture. If it doesn't, your advertisement will be hidden for 48 hours. If you cannot provide us wit prof that you have fixed your advertisement, we will simply delete it.
5) Please, only post your advertisement if you are the owner, or a staff member, of the site you are advertising. This isn't because it's a bad site, but it's just more respectful to the site owner/s/staff.
6) Advertised sites do NOT have to be role-playing sites, or even Proboards sites. They just have to have advertisement areas, and they have to be appropriate.
7) If your advertisement is deleted, and you feel it is appropriate to advertise, you may request to post it again. The same can be done if we hide your advertisement and you believe we did so wrongly. If your advertisement is deleted because it is inappropriate, or a false link, we will NOT let you relink it, and continuing to do so can result in personal punishments.
